I. How We Collect and Use Personal Information
1. Personal information we collect and use directly
In the following scenarios and business activities, we collect User Information that you voluntarily provide when using the Official Website and related Services, as well as User Information that we collect automatically as you use the Official Website and related Services. This includes, but is not limited to, personal information that users provide to the Official Website.
Please note in particular that information that cannot identify you, either on its own or in combination with other information, and that is unrelated to you, does not constitute your personal information in the legal sense. When information can identify you on its own or in combination with other information, or is related to you, or when we combine data that cannot be linked to any specific personal information with other personal information about you, we will treat and protect such information as your personal information under this Privacy Policy for the duration of its combined use. For clarity, personal information does not include anonymized information.
1.1 When you register, verify, or log in to an Official Website account
(a) When you register for or log in to AskTable and related Services, you may create an account and complete registration using your mobile phone number. A mobile phone number is necessary to comply with the real-name requirements for internet use under national laws and regulations. If you do not provide a mobile phone number for registration and login, we may be unable to provide features such as creating AI Data Assistants (Bots).
(b) You may log in to and use AskTable with a third-party account. With your consent, we will obtain the public information registered with that third-party platform (your profile picture, nickname, and other information you authorize) to link it to your AskTable account, allowing you to log in directly and use this product and related Services.
1.2 When you use the Official Website and related Services
(1) We are committed to providing safe and trustworthy products and an environment in which to use them. Providing high-quality, reliable services and information is our core objective. To maintain the normal operation of our Services and protect your lawful interests, those of other users, or those of the public from loss, we collect information necessary to maintain the secure and stable operation of our products or Services.
(2) When you browse or use the Official Website, we collect device information such as your operating system type and version, IP address, browser type and version, time zone and language, as well as your web browsing history, to ensure the normal operation and operational security of the website and Services, prevent cyberattacks and intrusions, and more accurately identify violations of laws and regulations or AskTable agreements and service rules. Please understand that this is basic information we must collect to provide the Services and ensure their normal operation and network security.
(3) To give you a better service experience and keep your use secure, we may record network logs, the frequency with which you use the Official Website and related Services, crash data, usage information, and related performance data.
(4) When you create an AI Data Assistant (Bot) through the Official Website, the Official Website retains the information you enter to create the AI Data Assistant (Bot), primarily your instructions.
(5) We may collect records of your inquiries and fault reports generated through your use of the Official Website and related Services, as well as records of troubleshooting performed for user-reported faults (such as communication or call records). We record and analyze this information to respond more promptly to your requests for help and to improve the Services.
(6) You acknowledge and agree that, in the course of our operations, we may send notifications to one or more of the contact details (contact phone numbers) you provide while using our products and/or Services, for purposes such as user notifications, identity verification, security verification, and user experience surveys. We may also use the mobile phone numbers collected in that process to send you commercial information about services, features, or activities that may interest you by text message or phone call. If you do not wish to receive such information, you may unsubscribe using the method provided in the text message or contact us directly to unsubscribe.
(7) In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we may technically process your personal information so that it cannot be used to identify individual users precisely, and use the technically processed information for anonymized academic research or statistical analysis (including the instructions you enter when creating AI Data Assistants (Bots)). This helps us continually improve the speed and quality of recognition and responses by algorithmic models, make the Services more intelligent, and improve their understanding of your input.
We will obtain your prior consent before using information for purposes not stated in this Policy or using information collected for a specific purpose for another purpose.
2. Personal information we may obtain from third parties
To provide you with better, higher-quality, and more personalized Services, to provide Services jointly, or to prevent internet fraud, our affiliates and partners may share your personal information with us in accordance with the law, an agreement with you, or your consent. We will use standard industry practices and make our best commercial efforts to protect the security of your personal information in accordance with relevant laws and regulations and/or as required for the identity verification feature.
3. Changes to the purposes of collecting and using personal information
Please understand that, as our business develops, the features or Services we provide may change. In principle, when new features or Services are related to those we currently provide, the collection and use of personal information will be directly or reasonably related to the original processing purpose. Where there is no direct or reasonable relationship to the original processing purpose, we will separately notify you and explain the collection and use of your personal information through page notices, interactive processes, or agreement confirmations, and obtain your consent again in accordance with laws, regulations, and national standards.
4. AskTable User Data
Please understand that your AskTable User Data (including any personal information it contains) differs from the personal information described above. The Official Website processes it as follows:
4.1 “AskTable User Data” means: (1) all data that you upload when using AskTable features/Services to obtain or create an AI Data Assistant (Bot), such as database information and plugin/API information uploaded by AskTable Users; and (2) all data processed through AskTable while a Bot operates after you publish it, including all text, audio, video, or image files and software, as well as data derived from your use of AskTable products or Services that AskTable Users can independently control and manage, such as configuration data and operations and maintenance data.
4.2 You retain full ownership of your AskTable User Data. As a neutral technical service provider, we process your AskTable User Data strictly in accordance with your instructions. Unless otherwise provided by laws or regulations, separately agreed under specific product rules, or necessary to provide technical assistance at your request to troubleshoot faults or resolve technical issues, we will not access your AskTable User Data or use or disclose it without authorization.
4.3 You are responsible for the source and content of your AskTable User Data. We remind you to assess carefully the legality of its source and content. You must ensure that you have the right to use the Official Website and Services to process such data, that all such processing complies with relevant laws and regulations, and that it does not violate any laws or regulations, infringe rights, or breach contractual agreements with third parties. You must not use the data for unlawful purposes. You bear sole responsibility for all consequences and liabilities arising from violations of laws, regulations, departmental rules, or national policies by the content of your AskTable User Data or your data processing activities.
4.4 Subject to the preceding paragraph, for any personal information contained in AskTable User Data, you must fulfill your legal obligation to notify the relevant personal information subjects in advance and obtain their separate consent. You must also ensure that:
(1) You provide written explanations and confirmations of the source and legality of the personal information in the manner we require;
(2) When we request it, you provide the scope of authorization and consent for processing personal information, including the purpose of use, and confirm that the personal information subjects consent to your use of the Official Website to process their personal information;
(3) If the personal information processing required for your use of the Official Website and related Services exceeds the scope of the authorization and consent for that information, you are responsible for obtaining the personal information subjects' express consent within a reasonable period after providing the personal information or before we process it, and for providing written proof to us upon request.
You understand and agree that you must not provide us with AskTable User Data containing personal information unless you satisfy the above conditions and other obligations required by law. If you violate these obligations, fail to provide reasonably satisfactory evidence as required, or we receive a report or complaint from a personal information subject, we have the right to decide unilaterally to refuse to transmit your relevant data (including, as appropriate, by restricting relevant service features or freezing, closing, or reclaiming your account), or to refuse to process the relevant personal information and associated data according to your instructions. You bear all resulting liability.
4.5 You understand and agree that we provide a free data hosting service for your AskTable User Data, but we have no obligation to store your data or information and bear no responsibility for the storage of your data or its results.
II. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies and similar technologies are widely used on the internet. When you use the Official Website, we may use these technologies to send one or more cookies or anonymous identifiers to your device to collect and store your account information, search history, and login status. Cookies and similar technologies can save you from repeatedly filling in certain information or entering search terms. They can also help us improve service efficiency and login and response speeds.
You may reject or manage cookies through your browser settings. Please note, however, that disabling cookies may prevent you from enjoying the best service experience and may affect the availability of certain features. We undertake not to use your personal information collected through cookies or similar technologies for any purpose other than those described in this Privacy Policy.
III. How We Store Personal Information
1. Information storage location
In accordance with laws and regulations, we store your personal information collected and generated during operations within the People's Republic of China in the People's Republic of China. We do not currently transfer this information outside China. If we do transfer it outside China, we will strictly comply with relevant Chinese laws and regulatory policies, and follow relevant national requirements or obtain your consent.
2. Retention periods
2.1 We retain your personal information only for the period necessary to provide the Official Website and related Services. You understand and acknowledge that the necessary retention period may vary according to different Services and their functional requirements. The criteria we use to determine retention periods include:
(1) The time for which personal information must be retained to fulfill the business purpose, including providing Services, maintaining corresponding transaction and business records as required by law, ensuring the security of systems and Services, responding to possible user inquiries or complaints, and identifying issues;
(2) A longer retention period to which the user has consented;
(3) Special requirements for retaining personal information under laws, contracts, or other applicable provisions.
2.2 We retain the relevant information while you have not withdrawn your authorization and consent or deleted or closed your account. After the necessary retention period, we delete or anonymize your information, unless otherwise provided by laws or regulations.
IV. Partners Involved in Data Use, and the Transfer and Disclosure of Personal Information
1. Partners involved in data use
1.1 Principles
(1) Lawfulness: Data use activities carried out in cooperation with partners must have a lawful purpose and a legally recognized basis. If a partner's use of information no longer meets the principle of lawfulness, it must stop using your personal information or resume use only after obtaining an appropriate basis for the cooperation.
(2) Legitimacy and minimum necessity: Data use must have a legitimate purpose and be limited to what is necessary to achieve that purpose.
(3) Security and prudence: We will carefully assess our partners' purposes for using data, comprehensively assess their security capabilities, and require them to comply with the legal agreements governing our cooperation. We will strictly monitor the security of software development kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs) through which partners obtain information to protect data security.
1.2 Entrusted processing
Where personal information processing is entrusted to a partner, we will enter into relevant processing agreements with that partner in accordance with the law and supervise its use of personal information.
1.3 Joint processing
Where personal information is processed jointly, we will enter into relevant agreements with our partners in accordance with the law, specifying each party's rights and obligations to ensure compliance with relevant laws and protect data security when using the personal information.
1.4 Scope of partners
Where specific features and scenarios involve services provided by our affiliates or third parties, the scope of partners includes those affiliates and third parties.
2. Circumstances involving joint or entrusted processing of personal information
2.1 Certain specific modules or features of the Official Website and related Services are provided by partners. You understand and agree that, when we cooperate with any partner, we provide your personal information to that partner only to the extent necessary to provide the Services, following the principles of lawfulness, legitimacy, and necessity. We will endeavor to ensure that the partner complies with this Privacy Policy and other appropriate confidentiality and security measures we require when using your information, and undertakes not to use your information for any other purpose.
2.2 Data use to ensure service security and for analysis and statistics
(1) Ensuring secure use: We attach great importance to account and service security. To protect your and other users' accounts and property, and to protect your and our legitimate and lawful interests from unlawful infringement, we and our partners need to use necessary device, account, and log information.
(2) Analyzing service usage: To analyze how our Services are used and improve the user experience, we and our partners need to use statistical data about your service usage, such as crashes and unexpected exits. Such data is difficult to combine with other information to identify you or associate it with your identity.
2.3 Payment features, if any, are provided by third-party payment institutions with which we cooperate, such as Alipay and WeChat Pay. To provide these features, the payment institutions use your name, bank card type and number, expiry date, identity card number, and mobile phone number. This information is necessary for payment features. Refusing such use will prevent you from using those features, but will not affect the normal use of other features.
3. Transfer of personal information
We do not transfer your personal information to any other third party, except in the following circumstances:
3.1 At your written request, and where the conditions specified by the national cyberspace administration are met, we will provide you with a means of transfer.
3.2 After obtaining your express consent, we may transfer your personal information to other third parties.
3.3 If a change in the operator of the Official Website, merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation involves the transfer of personal information, we will notify you of the circumstances in accordance with the law. We will require the new company or organization holding your information to remain bound by this Privacy Policy or continue to protect your information to security standards no lower than those required by this Privacy Policy. Otherwise, we will require that company or organization to obtain your authorization and consent again. If bankruptcy occurs and there is no recipient to take over the data, we will delete your information.
4. Public disclosure of personal information
4.1 In principle, we do not publicly disclose your personal information unless we have your express consent or the disclosure complies with national laws and regulations.
(1) With your express consent or based on your voluntary choice, we may publicly disclose your personal information;
(2) To protect the personal safety and property of AskTable Users or the public from harm, we may disclose your personal information in accordance with applicable laws or AskTable agreements and rules.
4.2 Exceptions to obtaining authorization and consent
Please understand that, in the following circumstances, laws, regulations, and relevant national standards do not require us to obtain your prior authorization and consent to collect and use your personal information:

(11) Where necessary for an academic research institution to carry out statistical or academic research in the public interest, and any personal information contained in the results is de-identified when the academic research or descriptive results are made available externally;
(12) Other circumstances provided for by laws and regulations.
Please note in particular that information that cannot identify you on its own or in combination with other information does not constitute your personal information in the legal sense. When information can identify you on its own or in combination with other information, or when we combine data that cannot be linked to any specific personal information with other personal information about you, we will treat and protect such information as your personal information under this Privacy Policy for the duration of its combined use.
V. How We Protect the Security of User Information
-
We attach great importance to the security of User Information and will endeavor to take reasonable security measures, both technical and administrative, to protect your information from improper use and from unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage, loss, or leakage.
-
We use reasonable and practicable methods, including encryption technologies and anonymization at a level no lower than common industry practice, to protect your information. We also use security mechanisms to reduce the likelihood of malicious attacks on your information as much as possible.
-
We establish a dedicated security department, security management systems, and data security processes to protect your information. We implement strict data use and access rules to ensure that only authorized personnel can access your information, and conduct security audits of data and technology as appropriate under the company's internal management rules.
-
Although we have taken the reasonable and effective measures described above and complied with the standards required by relevant laws, please understand that, because of technical limitations and the possible existence of various malicious methods, even every effort to strengthen security measures in the internet industry cannot always guarantee that information is one hundred percent secure. We will do our best to ensure the security of the information you provide to us. You acknowledge and understand that the systems and communications networks you use to access our Services may experience problems due to factors beyond our control. We therefore strongly recommend that you take active steps to protect the security of User Information, including using complex passwords, changing passwords regularly, and not disclosing your account passwords or other such information to others.
-
We develop emergency response plans and activate them immediately in the event of a User Information security incident, endeavoring to prevent its effects and consequences from expanding. Following a User Information security incident, such as leakage or loss, we will promptly inform you, as required by laws and regulations, of the basic circumstances and possible impact of the incident, the measures we have taken or will take, recommendations for steps you can take to prevent and reduce risks, and remedies available to you. We will promptly notify you of the incident through push notifications, email, letters, text messages, or other means. Where individual notification is difficult, we will publish an announcement in a reasonable and effective manner. We will also report our handling of User Information security incidents as required by the relevant regulators.
8. We specifically remind you that the User Information protection measures provided by this Privacy Policy apply only to the Official Website and related Services. Once you leave the Official Website and related Services to browse or use other websites, products, services, or content resources, we have neither the ability nor the obligation to protect any information you submit to software or websites outside the Official Website and related Services, regardless of whether you log in to, browse, or use that software or those websites through links or guidance provided by the Official Website.
VI. Management of Personal Information
We attach great importance to the management of personal information and protect your rights under the law to access, copy, correct, supplement, and delete your information, withdraw authorization and consent, close your account, and make complaints and reports, so that you can protect your privacy and information security.
1. Your rights in personal information processing activities
1.1 If you or another authorized party have any claims, requests, or questions about exercising personal information rights provided by relevant laws and regulations, you may contact us at 【hi@datamini.ai】. We will review the matter as soon as possible and respond within fifteen working days after verifying your identity as a user.
2. Closing your account
You may contact us at 【hi@datamini.ai】 to request account closure. You acknowledge and understand that closing an account is irreversible. After you close your account, we will stop providing any Services to you and delete all information relating to your account or anonymize the relevant information. Where laws or regulations require personal information to be retained, we undertake to store it separately and not use it in routine business activities.
3. Withdrawing or changing the scope of your authorization and consent
3.1 You understand and agree that certain features may require some basic personal information to function. Apart from the basic personal information collected to deliver business functions, you may choose to withdraw your authorization or change its scope for the collection and use of additional personal information. You may also withdraw all authorization for us to continue collecting your personal information by closing your account.
3.2 You understand and agree that, after withdrawing consent or authorization, you will no longer be able to use the Services corresponding to that consent or authorization, and the Official Website will no longer process the corresponding personal information. Your decision to withdraw consent or authorization does not affect personal information processing previously carried out on the basis of your authorization.
4. How to obtain a copy of your personal information
At your written request, we will provide copies of the following types of personal information: your basic profile and user identity information. Please note that the copies we provide are limited to information we have collected directly.
5. Restricting automated decisions by information systems
In certain business functions, we may make decisions solely through automated, non-human decision-making mechanisms, including information systems and algorithms. If these decisions significantly affect your lawful rights and interests, you have the right to contact us through “AskTable—Home” to provide feedback. Depending on the circumstances, we will provide appropriate remedies, such as a human review of an automated decision or discontinuing the use of automated decision-making mechanisms for the relevant decisions.
6. Complaints and reports
You may submit complaints or reports in accordance with our published procedures. If you believe that your information rights may have been infringed or discover indications of such infringement, you may contact us through “AskTable—Home” by submitting relevant information and evidence of your rights. We will respond promptly to your complaint or report after verification.
7. Responding to your requests
For security purposes, you may need to provide a written request and prove your identity through other means. We may first require you to verify your identity in accordance with relevant rules before processing your request. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may also make a complaint or report through the channels described above.
In principle, we do not charge for reasonable requests. For repeated requests that exceed reasonable limits, however, we may charge a cost-based fee depending on the circumstances. We may refuse requests that are needlessly repetitive, require excessive technical measures (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing existing practices), put others' lawful rights and interests at risk, or are impractical (for example, requests involving information stored on backup tapes).
You understand and acknowledge that we will be unable to respond to your request in the following circumstances:
(1) Where related to our performance of obligations prescribed by laws and regulations;
(2) Where directly related to national security or national defense security;
(3) Where directly related to public security, public health, or major public interests;
(4) Where directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement of judgments;
(5) Where we have sufficient evidence that the personal information subject is acting maliciously or abusing their rights;
(6) Where necessary to protect significant lawful rights and interests, such as the life or property of the personal information subject or another individual, but it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent;
(7) Where responding to the personal information subject's request would seriously harm the lawful rights and interests of that subject or another individual or organization;
(8) Where trade secrets are involved.
12. Notification of cessation of operations
If we cease operations, we will stop collecting your personal information, notify you of the cessation through commercially practicable means such as individual notices or public announcements, and delete or anonymize the personal information about you that we hold.
VII. Terms for Minors
Our Services are primarily intended for adults or enterprises. Without the consent of a parent or guardian, minors (persons under eighteen years of age) should not create any account or use the Official Website or its Services. If we discover that we have collected a minor's personal information without prior verifiable guardian consent, we will seek to delete the relevant information as soon as possible.
VIII. Revisions to and Notices of This Privacy Policy
-
To provide better Services, the Official Website and related Services will be updated and changed from time to time. We will revise this Privacy Policy as appropriate. Such revisions form part of this Privacy Policy and have the same effect. Without your express consent, however, we will not reduce the rights you are entitled to under the Privacy Policy currently in effect.
-
After updating this Privacy Policy, we will publish the updated version on the Official Website and, before the updated terms take effect, notify you of the changes through an announcement on the Official Website or other appropriate means, so that you can promptly learn about the latest version of this Privacy Policy. If you continue to use the Official Website and related Services, you will be deemed to agree to all provisions of the revised Privacy Policy.
-
For significant changes, we will also provide more prominent notices, including by email, text message, system message, or a special notice on the page you are browsing, explaining the specific changes to this Privacy Policy.
-
Significant changes referred to in this Privacy Policy include, but are not limited to:
(1) Significant changes to our service model, such as the purposes of processing personal information, the types of personal information processed, or the ways personal information is used;
(2) Significant changes to our ownership structure or organizational structure, such as ownership changes resulting from business adjustments, bankruptcy, mergers, or acquisitions;
(3) Changes to the principal recipients of personal information transmissions, transfers, or public disclosures;

(5) Changes to our contact details or complaint channels.
IX. Scope of Application
-
This Privacy Policy applies to products, Services, and solutions provided by the Official Website, as well as other products, Services, or solutions that the company may introduce from time to time and include within the scope of the Services.
-
This Privacy Policy does not apply to products or services provided to you by third parties through the Official Website that have their own privacy policies and are not covered by this Privacy Policy (“Third-Party Services”). Your use of these Third-Party Services, including any information you provide to those third parties, whether personal information or otherwise, is governed by their terms of service and privacy policies, rather than this Privacy Policy. You should submit relevant requests, complaints, and reports through the mechanisms they establish for personal information subject requests and complaints. Please read the third parties' terms carefully for specific provisions. Protect your personal information properly and provide it to third parties only when necessary.
-
In particular, if, as a user of the Official Website, you use its technical services to provide services to your own users, such as making an AI Data Assistant (Bot) you have created available to end users, you must separately agree on a privacy policy with your users. This Privacy Policy does not replace the privacy policy between you and your users.
