Integrating AskTable in a Feishu Group

This document will guide you on how to quickly integrate AskTable + Coze into your Feishu group to enable intelligent querying of enterprise databases. You won't need to write any code; it only takes 20 minutes to complete the setup, and you can use natural language to ask questions and get business data within the Feishu group.

Function Overview​

By leveraging AskTable's data source integration capabilities and combining them with Coze's intelligent agent (Agent) to build an integration with the Feishu platform, you can achieve the following functionalities in your Feishu group:

  • Query enterprise databases using natural language.
  • Ensure data access security through identity authorization mechanisms.
  • Provide visual structured results to improve data query efficiency.

Step 1: Configure Database Connection in AskTable​

  1. Visit the AskTable website: https://asktable.com/

  2. Log in and enter the control panel to create a new data source connection.

  3. After configuring, copy the data source ID (formatted like: ds_xxxx), which will be used later in Coze.

    Supported data source types include but are not limited to:

    • MySQL
    • PostgreSQL
    • Alibaba Cloud RDS, and other mainstream relational databases.

Step 2: Create an Intelligent Agent in Coze​

Step 3: Publish to Feishu Platform​

  1. Click the 【Publish】 button in the Coze platform, then select 【Feishu Platform】.

  2. Follow the system prompts to complete the enterprise administrator approval process.

  3. After approval, the intelligent agent will become a usable Feishu bot.

Step 4: Add the Bot to the Feishu Group​

  1. Open the Feishu group → Group Settings → Group Robots → Add Robot.

  2. Search for the name of the intelligent agent you created in Coze, then click to add it.

  3. Once successfully added, you can query the database through dialogue in the group.

Usage Example​

Ask questions in the group chat:

  • "When did Zhang San register?"

  • "What is the recent usage count statistics?"

The robot will automatically connect to the database and return structured query results.
